After volunteering so much the past few weeks, the youth got to enjoy some time for themselves
with a couple "fun-only" activities. Please see the pics above for a recap of the fun!

We had a great time at the Craftons' house for our annual Bible Study Christmas Party. Lots of un eating, hanging out, and of course, the gift exchange! Thanks again to Michelle and Curtis for hosting, and to Amanda, Will, Daniel, and Shawna for being there as well.

Then, on the final Monday before Christmas, we traveled to West Town for a day at the mall. Despite the above pictures, our whole day was not spent in the food court. Some of us got to see a movie, some of us came home with some good finds for our family, and some of us... well, some of us slept in the mattress store.

Youth Serve During Christmas Season

Photos by Jessica, Harrison and Shawna

We've had several opportunities the last few weeks to give a bit of our time to be a blessing to others.

Toward the end of November, the youth particpated in the annual Leaf Rake Day, as an incredible number of youth showed up to rake several yards of church folk who would not be able to do it for themselves this year.

On Wed. Dec 10 the youth got out to Wally World and teamed up to purchase christmas gifts for 4 children. We split up into 8 teams, 2 teams for each child with each shopping for clothing and toys, respectively. We had an absolute blast! And the youth really did an awesome job budgeting the money and working as a team to get the most they could for the kids.

Morgan Fesmire and Zeke Varajon also helped with the Homeservice Christmas Party on Thr. Dec 11.

On Fri Dec 12 the Youth also hosted an evening of babysitting for the young adults of the church. We had around 40 children and 20 youth attend. Quite an energetic event!

Finally, on Dec 14, the youth performed at the Keith Family Christmas. They had worked on their play, "Fresh Prince of Bethlehem" for several weeks.

See the pics above for a glimpse of the awesome ways our youth have been serving lately!
