SUMMER ACTIVITIES: UMYF, Mission Mondays, Lunch Bunch, and More!
Our Sunday evening UMYFs were theme nights; ie. Water Fun Night, Movie Night, Board Game Night, and Rec Night (capture the flag).
On Mondays we did some local service work together(we call it MISSION MONDAYS). We worked at the Habitat home, where we were able to add finishing touches on framework and install 1/4 of the roof together. We also were able to help the landscaping effort at the church, and be part of a "demolition crew" at the McMinn Ministries Center- clearing the way for them to install new rooms in their basement. We finished the summer by doing some needed yardwork for a church member. All of the Mission Mondays were VERY well participated, and our teens did a great job and worked hard!
Tuesdays were opportunity for us to simply meet up at local restuarants and have some lunch together. This was also VERY well participated, and it was great to see different folks at different points in the summer.

YOUTH WEEK
What a week! Smokies Baseball (SUN), painting our new Game Room (MON), Matinee Movie and MOE's (TUE), a day at Will P's on the lake (WED), open gym at Church and Dairy Barn (THR), SIX FLAGS of ATL (FRI), and capped off with our version of DOUBLE DARE for UMYF on Sunday Eve.
